Seal-Once Revolutionizes the Waterproofing Industry
Manchester, N.H. – New Image Coatings, LLC, a manufacturer of a variety of non- toxic, eco-friendly, waterproofers for both wood and concrete, released Seal-Once, a new class of waterproofers that outperforms all products on the market today, while eliminating many health and safety hazards associated with current products being offered by Behr, Cabot, Thompsons, Woodman, and other competitors.
Seal-Once will save consumers time and money. Most existing clear waterproofers require annual reapplication. This means consumers must repurchase the product every year and reapply every year. That is to say nothing of the health risks associated with these products. Product labels are full of health and danger warnings. Standard statements include, “this product can cause cancer birth defects, can cause brain damage, nervous system damage, and other reproductive problems.”
These products contain dangerous volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). Many states have passed significant limitations on the amount of VOC’s a gallon of waterproofer can contain. Maine, New York and California effective January 2005 passed legislation limiting the amount of VOC’s to 350 units per gallon. Over time VOC’s must be eliminated completely from these products. Other states are following suit. VOC’s are dangerous because they make a liquid flammable and combustible. Improperly stored, these products can spontaneously explode causing a fire and possible loss of life
Not so with Seal-Once. Seal-Once has been designed with two key principles in mind. Give the consumer a product that performs remarkably well and that won’t cause them or their family, physical or safety problems.
Seal-Once is VOC free, contains no solvents, petroleum distillates or other harmful chemicals. Seal-Once contains no products that the state of California has determined causes cancer, brain or nervous system damage. Seal-Once will not spontaneously catch fire or explode if improperly stored. In short, Seal-Once significantly outperforms all competitors in every important respect including surface waterproofing protection.
