“I was happy to discover Seal-Once Waterproofer a few months ago. Our church needed to repair a decaying and sagging stockade fence, and as the green operations advocate for the church I volunteered to find an environmentally responsible way to do it. Aesthetics were also important as the nextdoor neighbors are parishioners, and they expressed a keen interest in the appearance of the fence, and offered to fund the replacement if it met their aesthetic requirements. This, along with the expense involved, ruled out use of fencing made of post-consumer recycled material or other such “green” fencing.
Instead, I visited Green Source, a new store offering green construction products and discussed the issue. We decided to replace the fence with a similar stockade fence, but one made of untreated wood. We then sealed the wood using Seal-Once, sealing each 8’ x 8’ panel prior to erecting them. The end result is a very attractive fence, completely satisfactory to the neighbors, and free of concern about leaching toxins to the ground (and thence to the Charles River). Now, we are looking forward to enjoying the durability afforded by Seal-Once.
The product was so easy to use and apparently effective, that we have now power-washed to stairways to the building and sealed them with Seal-Once. Additionally, I have applied it to the outdoor deck at my residence.
Thank you New Image Coatings for giving us Seal-Once.
